Yeah, that’s right, two Secret Santa gifts in the one week. This one was organised by Kirsty at the Scottish Blogger Network and was properly secret. Kirsty emailed us all the info (including postal address) for our Santa pairing. The other day I received my present from a mystery blogger, (brown paper parcels tied up with string…) complete with an adorable ‘A’ charm which is now on my tree. Who wants to see what I got?
Well hello there stationery haul! I have no words for how excited I was when I opened this. I’ve been extremely lucky this year, first with a beauty related gift and then with a stationery gift – my two loves!
How cute are these speech bubble post it notes? Post it notes have no excuse for just being plain old yellow and square anymore. And I love these ‘yes’ and ‘no’ stickers. The super curly ones look like writing on the A Beautiful Mess blog and app right?
And the creme-de-la-creme, this wonderful notebook. It’s a beautifully bound leather A4(ish) book with lined paper. It’s so perfect. Really the type of notebook you hold on to for life – I have no idea what to write in it though! It deserves something special. This is when I wish I was a poet!
The card held a clue to my Secret Santa’s identity: she followed me; had lilac hair and had posted a picture of my wrapped present on Instagram. I thought this was a really cute way to reveal and I quickly tracked her down – @_iamjayde
Firstly, a huuuge thank you to Jayde. I can’t quite believe that someone who has never even spoken to me picked so well. I really appreciate the effort you went to and I love every bit of my gift. I hope that you got something equally as amazing. Make sure you go check out her blog here, she is pretty awesome.
I’d also like a extend a big thank you to Kirsty from the Scottish Blogger Network. It must have taken a lot of work, but I (and I’m sure everyone else) really appreciate the effort you put into organising the Secret Santa and the Network in general. I hope that Santa has something special for you this year!
And, if you’d like to see who I bought for – it was lovely Alana from Alana Gets Healthy, her post is here.
Yups, Scottish bloggers rock. Thanks guys! If you took part, I’d love to see what you got/gave, leave me your links below 🙂
