Hello there! I’ve been feeling a bit blog-blocked recently so I was pretty pleased when I was tagged by Lace London to do this post. You can check out her post here. I hope you enjoy getting to know me a bit better.
- Is your hair naturally curly or straight? Straight. Very straight! It won’t hold a curl for love nor money.
- Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon? I don’t really dye my hair much. I went to a salon to get the ombre done originally, but then top it up every few months with a home kit. If I wanted a drastic change though I would go to a salon.
- Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it? I usually just wear it straight – I find it really difficult to get it to hold even a bit of texture never mind a curl. Do throw the odd bun or braid in though.
- Do you do your own mani/pedi or do you go to a salon? DIY all the way.
- How often do you change your nail polish? Probably every couple of days. I like painting them and I have so many polishes to play with!
- Do you polish your toes in the winter or just in summer? All year round. I think once you get used to having nail polish on your toes it just looks weird without.
- How long does it take you to put on makeup? Depends on how long I have. I can do it in 5 (basic face) or take a leisurely 45 minutes over it. Usually I’ll take around 15 mins though.
- What do you do first? Face or eyes? Eyes if I’m using an eye shadow with a lot of fallout or glitter but otherwise face.
- Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need? I’ve started getting into the collecting habit, but I do try to keep this to a minimum.
- How often do you wear false eyelashes? Never!
- Do you wear a full face of makeup everyday? No, I only wear a full face occasionally, my everyday makeup is pretty basic.
- Do you wear makeup when you’re home alone or with family? Depends what kind of mood I’m in. I definitely don’t feel like I have to wear makeup to see my family.
- Will you leave the house without makeup? Yep, I do aaaalll the time! I love makeup but I also love my sleep and often choose an extra 10 minutes kip over looking fancy at work.
- How many high-end products do you own? I’m not really sure. I have 5 Urban Decay palettes and a lot of their eyeliners, lots of Benefit and a few MAC bits, but I mostly have drugstore brands.
- Do you plan your OOTD ever night or do you decide in the morning? Pfft! Too lazy for that. In the morning!
- How often do you change your handbag? Not very often since I got my beloved Cambridge Satchel last year. I do have an eye out for a roomier bag though so I’ll probably switch quite a bit once I have a new bag.
- What time do you wake up and go to sleep? Usually wake up between 7 and 8 (joys of living 10 minutes from work) and go to sleep about 11. Anything can happen on the weekend though! That makes it sound like I go out partying – I don’t, just up being boring!
- How often do you workout? Normally never. But I’ve been doing the Blogilates Beginners Calendar this month so every day! Yey me! I’m liking it so far even though it’s tiring and painful.
- Left handed or right handed? Right.
- How tall are you? I am 5ft6. I think.
- Do you speak any foreign languages? Sadly not. I did French at school but I was so bad at it, especially speaking. Would love to learn but I don’t think I’m capable at this stage in my life.
- How many pets do you have? As a family, we have one cat Murphy, but he lives at home with my parents. I miss his wee face everyday.
- How do you blog? Lying on my sofa with my laptop. Not the best posture! I use a notebook to plan out posts and type them up directly. I take photos with my phone or Olympus compact system camera whenever I can.
- Do you read comments on blogs? Yeah, sometimes. They can be pretty interesting/revealing. I always read every comment on my own blog.
- Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts? Nah, too dangerous! I buy a lot of stuff I see on blogs but most of the lists are in my head. If I can’t remember it, I can’t want it that much.
- How did you come up with your blog name? It’s my name. The spelling is just what was available on Twitter when I signed up ages ago and I wanted my name to be the same across all platforms.
- What kind of camera do you use for your photographs? My Olympus E-PM1 or my iPhone5. Need to improve my skills and get my camera off auto mode soon.
- How often do you clean your house? Do little bits of tidying every day and good cleans at the weekend/days off. Unless something obviously need done, then I just do it.
- What’s your favourite colour? This is a hard question! Recently I’ve been loving turquoises and mints. But I love most colours. Ohh coral! I love coral too.
- Do you swear? Fuck yeah! Sorry, I know it’s not classy but I never said that I was!
- What are you doing with the rest of your day? It’s quarter past midnight, so late nights snacks and tv (naughty) then bed.
