I’m suffering from a bit of post-holiday fatigue following my long weekend up in Argyll which means that the roll I was on with my blog has come grinding to a halt. So I thought I’d do a little post about my trip, then build a bridge and get over it. Normal service to commence imminently.
The view from our balcony. Sunset walk 30 seconds from front door.
Trying to get a phone signal ;)
Glimpsing the cabin site from the other side of the water.
The bonny, bonny banks of Loch Lomond.
Loch Long panorama.
DJ loved the heated flooring. Especially after swimming in the loch.
And we loved the view from the hot tub.
We stayed at the Forest Holidays Argyll location and I can’t recommend it enough. Less than a two-hour drive from Edinburgh, the Ardgarten cabins are right at the water edge of Loch Long in the Argyll Forest with the snow-capped Munros surrounding setting off the picturesque scenery perfectly. The cabin itself was lovely and modern and really warm and comfortable. We had a great few days chilling out, taking the dog on long walks, stuffing ourselves silly and sipping Champagne in the hot tub. Wish it had been a hot tub time machine so I can go back and repeat the experience! Will definitely be returning.
