Just realised that this is my first Favourites post of 2013. It’s a good one…
Blog Inc I’ve just bought Blog Inc by Joy Deangdeelert Cho in the hope that it can help me to become a better blogger. I’ve heard lots of good things about this book, and I’m really enjoying blogging so far so I can’t wait to get stuck in!

Plastic Animal Bookends How cute are these bookends? These are by Natalie who has gazillions of inspiring projects. I fancy doing dino versions of these.
Check out www.natalme.com for this DIY and more.
Lego Minifigs OK I am officially obsessed. I started out by scoffing at David’s new collection, but now I want in! The figures are so detailed and cute, I’m sure we’ll soon amass an army!
See the lineup at www.minifigures.lego.com but beware – you might also be sucked in.

Glasgow Film Festival The Glasgow Film Festival 2013 programme has just been launched and it’s a corker. I’m looking forward to Stoker; the new film from Park Chan-wook, John Dies at the End, Good Vibrations and How to Survive a Plague to name just a few. The Glasgow Short Film Festival and the Youth Film Festival also look particularly impressive this year. Can’t wait!
Head to www.glasgowfilm.org/festival for a gander and to book your tickets.
Catch you next time!
