Friday Favourites – 18 January

Just realised that this is my first Favourites post of 2013. It’s a good one…

Blog Inc Blog IncI’ve just bought Blog Inc by Joy Deangdeelert Cho in the hope that it can help me to become a better blogger. I’ve heard lots of good things about this book, and I’m really enjoying blogging so far so I can’t wait to get stuck in!

Visit Joy’s blog at

Plastic Animal Bookends bookend1How cute are these bookends? These are by Natalie who has gazillions of inspiring projects. I fancy doing dino versions of these.

Check out for this DIY and more.

Lego Minifigs Lego mini figuresOK I am officially obsessed. I started out by scoffing at David’s new collection, but now I want in! The figures are so detailed and cute, I’m sure we’ll soon amass an army!

See the lineup at but beware – you might also be sucked in.

Pug Face Plant! Pug face plantCould not resist sharing this picture! Awwww! Found this on Pinterest via PugsWorld so I’m not sure who the original owner is. Is it you? If so – congrats on a perfectly timed photo!

Go to to get your fill of Pugs.

Glasgow Film Festival gffThe Glasgow Film Festival 2013 programme has just been launched and it’s a corker. I’m looking forward to Stoker; the new film from Park Chan-wook, John Dies at the End, Good Vibrations and How to Survive a Plague to name just a few. The Glasgow Short Film Festival and the Youth Film Festival also look particularly impressive this year. Can’t wait!

Head to for a gander and to book your tickets.

Catch you next time!
