Book Review – Wonder

WonderJust a quick post today to say that I have a guest post up over on the wonderful Bloggers Bookshelf. If you’re not familiar with the site, it’s a collective of bloggers who write on all things literary. There are book reviews, posts about events and lots of ways for readers to also share their thoughts.

I’ve reviewed the crossover hit Wonder by R.J. Palacio, a novel which tells the story of August Pullman, a boy with severe facial deformities, and his first year at a mainstream school. When I say crossover I mean that it is technically a YA book (even younger maybe) but has proved a hit amongst adult readers too. To sum it up I’d say that it is a moving and sensitive tale that, although flawed, is difficult to dislike. Read my full review here.
