Er make that Saturday favourites!
How awesome is this?! I love a good film poster and this one on Deviant Art by SamRAW08 caught my eye this week. I’m also particularly feeling the love for Re-Animator this month as I recently went to see the musical adaptation at the Fringe (hilarious) and my long-awaited DVD just arrived in post in time for Halloween Movie Night with the NMMS girls. None of them have seen it so they are in for a treat!

I’ve seen this style on Pinterest loads and I absolutely love it but it’s so hard! I’ve got the hang of the sock bun but I cannot do the french braid it – upside down or not! This YouTube tutorial by Luxy Hair explains the technique for a french braid really clearly (and is kinda funny cos she’s hanging her head upside down as she’s doing it). So I tried it and I did it! Messy, but the foundation is finally there. Happy!

This is a fairly old post from Bakerella but I was looking for decoration ideas for Halloween and these are the right balance of cute and creepy while also actually looking achievable. I’ll let you know how I get on!
If you haven’t already, visit www.bakerella.com for baking inspiration and also just to see the originator of cake pops.
This is what I am reading at the moment. It’s hard to read after having watched the Spike Jonze Where the Wild Things Are film since it’s a direct adaptation, the book is as near to the screenplay as possible basically. That said, I love the film and I’m enjoying this far – just reached the boat – so we’ll see how it goes.
Thanks for reading, see you next FRIDAY!
