This year copper has definitely overtaken rose gold as the metal du jour. Luckily it’s a pretty easy trend to incorporate into your make up routine. I have a whole tonne of copper eyeshadows and eyeliners (nude palettes ftw), but my single favourite item has to be the nail polish ‘Harvest Moon’ from the China Glaze 2012 Hunger Games Collection.
It’s an intense foil shimmer that positively glows in the sunlight. I prefer my metallics to have a dash of shimmer in them as it stops them from being streaky which I think makes foils look a but crap. Even though this bottle is three years old, it’s still a dream to apply, two thin coats is all you need. You might struggle to find this in a shop but it’s still available on Nail Polish Direct here.
